DIY S-Hook Bracelet
The fact that these are made with "S-Hooks" sold me at first glance. I'm making these this weekend. Lowe's or Home Depot will have both items you need to make this statement bracelet. Now, to just master that sliding knot. It looks pretty simple, wish me luck! I'll post mine next week when I'm finished.

May's Favored Nail Hue
This months hue wasn't an easy choice, I've obtained some fantastic colors over the last month however, I've finally made my decision. Drum roll please....the winner this month is essie's chinchilly. I think I mentioned this in April, but you can now purchase popular essie polishes at CVS for $8. This neutral grey matches with literally anything and everything. I'm actually painting my nails this color tonight!

DIY Determined #7
I FINALLY got this project finished and I'm psyched about the results! I can't wait to wear over a fun dress!
Follow my simple steps below to make your very own.
Here's what you'll need: Scissors, old jean jacket, rubber bands, bleach and about an hour of time
First step: Cut those sleeves right off the jacket, the sloppier the better (once you wash, it fringes up)
Second step: Wrap rubber bands as tight as possible around random sections, the more the merrier!
Third step: In a safe place (I chose the kitchen sink) pour bleach into a throw away container
Fourth step: Carefully dip the rubber banded sections into the bleach.
Saturate the area, let it absorb and repeat a few times.
Step five: Just like with hair, heat will help speed up the time, so I let this sit outside to hurry the process
20 minutes and it's already changing!
Final steps: After achieving the lightness desired, wash immediately in hot water with bleach & detergent and you're finished! Dry, wear and ENJOY! -Sally
Bollywood Boots
To say I'm obsessed with these would be an understatement, all I know is that it says they're available here and I see no buy button or link to make the purchase. Love. Love. Love.

Detailed Dismantles
Todd McLellan disassembles and meticulously rearranges everyday household items like cameras, flip clocks and typewriters. His persnickety (or OCD) way of arranging all the pieces is quite interesting, definitely fine works of art. Enjoy, I can't stop looking!

TwoFaced Trashcans
I'm infatuated. These reclaimed plastic bins have been wrapped with rattan to make the ultimate up-cycled trashcan/wastebasket. The green is my absolute fav and is available ($36-$48) at Dwell.
