DIY Determined #2

Just about two weeks ago, I posted a DIY project that I've totally been longing to tackle.  I knew just the person to hit up for some unused jewels (Thank you Jon, it's perfection!), so Thursday on my lunch break I headed to Michael's and purchased a bag of colored crafting thread.  This set me back a whopping $4, I still can't get over my frugally fabulous finished product!!  I'm not going to lie, this was difficult to get the hang of at first.  Five minutes into this project I was ready to throw it across the room.  I'm so proud I didn't because look at the magnificent result!  I'll be sporting this badass bracelet all summer!

What you'll need:
Chain Link Bracelet
2 Bobby Pins
Crafting Thread
30 Minutes Of Patience ;)

Revive A Dull Sharpie

I've been in this exact predicament before and just had to share this tip I found on the Sharpie website.  It won't work for every dried-out marker, but it's bound to help the majority!  All you need is rubbing alcohol (water if it's non-permanent), 20 minutes of dippage and your Sharpie is right back up & running.  Aren't you glad I shared?

February's Favored Nail Hue

I had such a yen for a mani yesterday, so on my lunch break I called my favorite spot down the street and they were able to take me right away.  I entered the nail salon with every intention of getting January's Favored Hue however, when I was told, "pick yo colla" my eyes were immediately drawn to the lonely & only bottle of my new number-one for spring, Bermuda Shorts by Essie.  My choice actually merged the mind of a fellow rose-gold watch wearer that had initially chosen a dark color as well.  We, for sure, had the best looking hands walking out of there yesterday if I do say so myself.

Favored hues of the past:

Bourgeois Barbie

One of my long time childhood passions has to be my Barbie's, thanks to Mom, I still have every solitary doll, shoe and outfit being stored in a trunk in her basement.  I can remember her always saying how she wished she had saved all her dolls for me, so we made sure to hang on to mine.  Yesterday when I got home I found this catalog in my mailbox and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what was happening in the world of Mattel's best-selling doll, circa 2011.  What you are seeing isn't a joke, you can straight up buy Louboutin's for Barbie, red heel and all!

This generation has no clue how good they have it. You can now choose from different jean styles as well, my god, what I would have done for these options as a little girl.  I seriously can't get over how trendy Barbie is nowadays.  I spy a few dolls with one straight arm and one bent arm, are they making Barbie's arms bendable now?  Go ahead.

With fringe being a gigantic trend,  this $150 Christian Louboutin made doll comes as no surprise. I'm literally dumbfounded by this catalogue.  Barbie even gets a shoebox with a dustbag for every beloved pair!  I'm jealous of a doll, phiffffff!

Ombre Mani

Oh. My. Goodness.
Not only am I obsessed with Ombre hair color, now I'm starting to obsess over this Ombre manicure too.  Every nail color is incredible, all distributed by Chanel.  I have nothing more to say.

Fabulous Friday Finds

Enjoy the weekend,
Monday will be here before we know it!
