Homeless Homes

"Our goal is to bring together imaginative people and discarded materials to make sturdy, innovative, mobile shelters for the homeless people." Gregory Kloehn delivers new life to a favorite phrase of mine: "One man's trash is another man's treasure."

He's the brilliant man behind the Homeless Homes Project. "By sourcing our materials from illegal street dumping, commercial waste and excess household items, we strive to diminish money's influence over the building process." This is simply incredible, peep just a few of the shelters below that have been created.  If I lived in Cali, I'd be first in line to volunteer, this is SO up Sally's alley.
