I was so inspired by the above photo that I posted Colorful Cutlery back in June, such a simple way to brighten up boring silverware and I had to share. I was packing up some kitchen stuff and found these mismatched forks and spoons. Of course I dropped what I was doing and headed straight for the garage.
I wrapped masking tape around each piece to ensure the paint didn't seep through.
Make sure to also cover the area of the utensils you'll be eating from! I used paper towels.
I couldn't decide between three colors, so I chose them all. Paint one side first, let dry for at least an hour, then flip and repeat on the back. Here's how mine turned out:
