Why hello roots! This is probably my absolute most favorite color trend, ever. I've been a hair stylist for over 10 years now and I'm not going to lie, I literally just learned the name of this rooty trend last week. A colleague at work mentioned that her friend got some "Ombre" hair color technique done. I instantly got to googling and here are my top picks. I'd never heard it before and I'm so glad she told me, Thank you Leigh!

What's My Name?
I'm completely hung up on this jam , it gets stuck in my head for days after I hear it. I still can't approve of RiRi's Kool-Aid hair, someone most certainly lied to her by saying that looked good however, I do love the cute pony she's rockin. Oh na na!

Military Mani
Back in September I got word from the Zoe factory who presented 3 stunning new polish colors made by Chanel, nicknamed Les Khakis De Chanel. I was promptly obsessed however, I absolutely refuse to pay $25 for a bottle of nail polish.
I kept my eye open for Essie and OPI look-a-likes wherever I went, but nothing even remotely close was out there. I recently went to the mall with my sister and while standing in the mile long line at Forever21, I stumbled upon MY rendition of Rachel Zoe's military mani. At $2 per bottle I could afford the whole collection. (Light grey, brown, tan) Hence, the snap of my version I named Les Khakis Des Affordable. Enjoy!
Sally's DIY Holiday Branches
With Thanksgiving now behind us, we can finally bust out the Christmas and Channukah decor. While purchasing 1 of our 2 trees today from Home Depot, I got inspired to bring the festiveness and also bought a can of gold spray paint. ($3.99) On a walk with my dog this morning, I gathered a bunch of sticks which literally cost me nothing. Knowing this years Halloween costume experience had made me a pro spray-painter, I knew this job would be a total piece of cake. It took me all of 5 minutes to paint the sticks, so I figured I'd put this post together while they all dry. To finish, simply place the painted sticks in a mason jar or vase that you already own and you've just created a $4 work of art that will jazz up any mantle or table center. You can also add glitter or a few ornaments for some extra sparkle!

Black Friday
For the last 5 years or so, we've made an annual tradition of piling into Mr. Yellow and riding the Whites Ferry over to the Leesburg Outlets for some good ol' Black Friday retail therapy. (If we happen to work off a few calories from both eating extravaganza's the day before, that'd be just amaze.)
For some reason I was abnormally pumped for this years trip, maybe I subconsciously knew that some great deals were about to come my way. After 20 minutes of parking lot sniping, we got a prime spot right up front. The boys made their premier stop in Polo while I headed straight for Nike. Good move Sally. Little did I know that I'd be scratching this pair of kicks off my Sneaker Bucket List. Score! Hello Nike Air Diamond Turf (Deion Sanders) for $40 bucks:
I immediately swiped my size off the shelf then headed for the toddler section. There were so many people I decided to detour down an empty aisle where I actually ran into a guy that I work with, we share the same birthday and must of had the same idea. Random! After plenty of debating I came up with these Auto Trainers for my godson:
I was so hyped to see Converse added to the lineup of stores. Seriously, everything in every store was at least 20% off, if not more. After stopping in True Religion and Joe's jeans and trying on both over-priced labels, I've decided that they both unattractively smush the hell out of my booty. (7's for life!) Next stop: Diesel, where I was introduced to my new Sherlock Holmes inspired overcoat and perfect black leather clutch. I score huge every time I go in that store, dangerous but I love it. Now, off to meet back up with the fellas! We hit up Barney's and a few other stores and called it a day. By this time we had all worked up some mighty appetites for leftovers. Back to the ferry we go! Thanks Leesburg, see you in 365.
