I got to try one of these little balls of heaven at the office today and it was nothing short of amazing. The recipe is simple and there's literally no baking, or use of eggs. I'm going to give it a whirl with chocolate or strawberry batter this weekend. Thanks, Alex!

Indivisible Initiative

Starbucks and The CFDA (Council for Fashion Designers of America) have pulled together to help generate and sustain jobs in underserved communities nationwide. As a thank you, donors who give $5 or more will receive the red, white, and blue wristband with the word “Indivisible” stamped on a metal charm. RIP Heavy D

I'm despondent over the loss of Dwight Arrington Myers aka Heavy D and absolutely shed tears on my way home last night. I've been a fan of his music since my middle school days, I can totally still hear my mom chanting the lyrics "black coffee no sugar no cream" like it was yesterday. Though the "Overweight Luva" might not be with us any longer, his infectious music will without a doubt play on forever.

Crimson Conversion

I have a really exciting upcoming hair modification that I'm so pumped about! A colleague of mine is a natural blonde and annually she likes to go red for fall, Emma Stone and Amy Adams are two redheads that are currently inspiring her change. Man, I seriously cannot wait to get my hands in her hair, one week to go!

Mexican Crockpot Soup

I made this yesterday and it's bomb diggity!

Here's what you'll need:

1 can rotel
1 can of corn
1 can black beans (drained & rinsed)
2 frozen chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese
1 packet dry ranch dressing/dip
1 TBS cumin
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp chili powder

Here's what you'll do:

Throw it all in your crockpot and cook for three hours on high (or six hours on low).

I saw the below picture via pinterest not too long ago and couldn't wait to hop on this project. Meet Bekvam, our kitchen cart from ikea. I bought it three years ago to free up some counter space and store our microwave. We finally got our new one installed over our stove this weekend, so now that the cart serves no purpose, it was time for a little revamp. It came out fab and now completely matches our new kitchen!
